Because we believe that everyone in Colombia, regardless of race, gender, religious affiliation, or economic status, deserves the opportunity to feel healthy, educated, and safe.
“To feed, house, and educate Colombia’s poorest communities”
Since first starting in June 2020, we've focused most of our efforts and funds on 4 main barrios in Medellin - Moravia, El Botadero, Nueva Jerusalem, and Villa Tina. Here's what we've managed to do with your help:
“To feed, house, and educate Colombia’s poorest communities”
This holiday season Help Colombia wants to put smiles on the faces of 500 LESS-FORTUNATE CHILDREN from two of Medellin's most vulnerable neighbourhoods - Barrio Moravia & El Botadero. Most of these kids don't receive Christmas presents since their parents can barely afford to put food on their tables. However, with your generous donations, we can change that! We'll make sure that all of these kids feel a little more special, loved, and remembered this Christmas.
Every Saturday in the Cultural Center of Moravia (North of Medellín) Help Colombia along with our teacher Alejandra give English classes to 28 kids from 8 to 12 years old, all of these kids are from the vulnerable neighborhood of Moravia which is mainly inhabited by displaced individuals and families who were affected by internal conflict, armed violence, unemployment, and poverty over the last 5 decades in Colombia. The main goal of this project is to create new and better opportunities for these kids so they can build a better future and a better life. Help us to extend our project to continue working for the future of more kids. Make a donation today!
